Missions & Service
There are many opportunities to give and serve at PCUMC - across all areas of missions. Whether its donating your time to a children's group at church or collecting your change to give to our partner church in Mozambique, there's a way for everyone to make a difference.
Comfort Quilt Ministry
Do you know someone who is struggling with a terminal illness or another life altering situation? Have you ever wished you could do something more than pray? At PCUMC, Miss Bee's Comfort Quilt Ministry allows us not only to pray for the hurting, but to provide them with the comfort of a quilt that will remind them of God's presence and the love and prayers that are wrapped around them. If you would like to nominate someone to receive a beautiful hand-made comfort quilt, fill out a nomination form in the fellowship hall or contact the church office.
PCUMC is involved in a new program that helps families in the community. Each week, we receive requests for items or donations. Here is the current list of what is needed. If you have any of these items, or would like to make a donation, please call the church office 858-2441.
- Monetary donation for utility and rent bills.
PCUMC collects donations for our sister church in Mozambique throughout the year, including clean water programs, church ministries, health programs and more. At the annual Ash Wednesday Austerity Dinner, we earn about half of the money toward our yearly $1200 goal. You can help our sister church by filling up a water bottle with your spare change.
