Truth or Illusion . . . Are Christians too political? Are Christians Anti-Gay? Are they Anti-Science? Are they exclusive and judgmental?

The failure of some Christians can cause us to believe illusions about Christ’s Church. What we need is to be disillusioned (in a good way), refocusing our attention on Jesus and what the church is really supposed to be.

Mission & Vision

At Platte City United Methodist Church, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Our vision is to share God's love with ALL in the community through worship, missions and small groups. We focus on families with school age children and youth, especially those without a church home.
