This is the new "Blessing Box" located at the northeast edge of the church parking lot. (14040 N Highway)

It provides free food to anyone in need. Simply stop by any time and take what you need.

PCUMC is in the process of becoming a "Stephen Ministry Church".

As a Stephen Ministry church, our mission is to provide high quality, one-to-one Christ-centered care to people in our congregation experiencing life difficulties.

6 to 8 pm - Youth Group Meeting with Dinner

Monday, November 24 - Mondays with the Minister from 12:30 to 2:30 pm at Price Chopper/Starbuck's
Monday, November 24 - Hanging of the Greens at 6:30 pm
Tuesday, November 25 - Prayer Team meets at Noon in the Prayer Chapel
Tuesday, November 25 - LIFT with Christmas Program practice from 4:45 to 5:15 pm
Wednesday, November 26 until Monday, December 1 - Office Closed
Monday, December 1 - NO Mondays with the Minister
Tuesday, December 2 - Prayer Team meets at Noon in the Prayer Chapel
Tuesday, December 2 - LIFT with Christmas Program practice from 4:45 to 5:15 pm
Sunday, December 14 - Children's Christmas Program at 10 am (One Service only) followed by Cookies with Santa in Fellowship Hall. Sign up in Fellowship Hall to bring cookies.
Christmas Eve - Traditional Candlelight Communion Services at 5 and 7 pm

Mission & Vision

At Platte City United Methodist Church, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Our vision is to share God's love with ALL in the community through worship, missions and small groups. We focus on families with school age children and youth, especially those without a church home.

All volunteers for Children and Youth are Safe Gatherings Certified.
